We're looking for someone with great taste and a strong sense of style. You know a good webinar from a forgettable one, a sharp headline from filler, and a clean page from a cluttered one. You know how to make a brand stand out in a market that is still fairly traditional.
Domain fluent.
You know your way around genomics and lab software, or around breeding workflows and genetics. You can talk to a lab manager or a breeder about their daily work and write content they take seriously.
Startup-ready.
You get the job done with the tools at hand. You work autonomously, set your own priorities, and are comfortable with some ambiguity. You launch a first version, see what works, and improve iteratively.
Here's what you'll do.
We're hiring a Marketing Manager to grow Breed Bio's visibility in agrigenomics and breeding, and to turn that visibility into qualified conversations for our commercial team.
Responsibilities.
- Own the marketing plan and calendar: content, campaigns, webinars and events.
- Host and organise B2B webinars, from topic and speakers to promotion and follow-up.
- Work with trade media partners on articles, interviews and co-hosted content.
- Write and edit content for the website, LinkedIn, newsletters and product launches.
- Manage the website, landing pages and campaigns in the HubSpot Marketing & Sales platform, and keep forms, lists and workflows in good shape.
- Prepare and attend 3-4 international conferences per year.
- Set up co-marketing with partners and resellers.
- Track what works and shift effort and budget accordingly.
Requirements.
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, or the ability to learn fast on the job.
- Knowledge of genomics and lab software, or of breeding workflows and genetics.
- Excellent spoken and written English. We serve an international market and most often use English internally as well.
- Hands-on experience with the HubSpot Marketing & Sales platform.
- Good understanding of the modern marketing stack and of AI tools to work faster and better.
- Experience hosting B2B webinars and working with trade media.
- Willingness to travel to 3-4 conferences per year.
- A strong sense of style and an eye for design and copy.
- You know how to stand out in a more traditional market without losing credibility.
- Strong preference to work from HQ in Belgium, but we're open to being convinced for a remote-first role if the right person applies
Nice to have.
- Experience at a breeding company.
- Proficiency in French, Spanish or German to connect with international clients.
- Experience with other marketing tools. We care more about results than about which tool you use.
