LIMS for agrigenomics laboratories.
Automate PCR, arrays & NGS.

Breed Bio is the only LIMS built for high-throughput agrigenomics labs. From order intake to validated reports in a single system.

The old way of working. isn't really working.

The planning is disconnected from the orders, the orders are loosely connected to the wet laboratory, your existing LIMS sits in the middle and generates more work. Dozens of tools but none of the cover your process entirely.

There's a better way to organize your lab on Breed Bio.

A single, modular platform that can be used to cover the lab from the field to the lab and back again. Different modules have clear responsibilities and solve planning, sample management, replace stale bioinformatics tools and generate reports automatically.

Everything your lab needs. Connected.

Manage selections

See where the lab will be over or under booked long before it becomes a problem.

Forecast capacity across instruments and teams so runs are planned with confidence and last-minute bottlenecks never catch you out.

Manage every order in real time, from the first request all the way to authorized results.

Breeders submit orders through structured forms your team controls, so the planning spreadsheet and the endless email chain finally disappear.

Keep the whole team working from the same picture on every single order.

Notes, files, chat, and status all live on the order itself, so nothing gets lost between people or buried in someone's inbox.

Follow every plate and every sample through each step of the workflow.

From reception to result you always know exactly where a sample is, what has happened to it, and what needs to happen next.

Lay out plates and keep every instrument run organized in one place.

Plan the layout, load the run, and keep your instruments busy without juggling spreadsheets or relying on guesswork.

Call, review, and authorize your PCR genotyping results in a single workflow.

Score the data, apply overrides wherever they are needed, and sign off with a full history behind every decision you make.

Explore array results and data quality across an entire run at a glance.

Dashboards surface call rates, cluster quality, and outliers so you can act on the data instead of hunting through it.

Turn finished results into the selection lists that drive your next breeding cycle.

Build, review, and hand off selections directly from the data, closing the loop straight back into the program.

Maize hybrid purity batch B - notes

Samples received in good condition. All 384 leaf samples packed in standard extraction plates, rows A-P, columns 1-24. No visible contamination or degradation observed at intake.

Pre-processing checklist
checkPlate barcodes scanned and matched to order reference ORD-2026-0151
checkSample manifest cross-checked: 384 entries, zero discrepancies
checkDNA extraction confirmation pending (expected 2026-06-12)

Marker panel

Running the Maize core SNP panel (201) plus custom markers GM-Rf3 and GM-Wx1. GM-Ht1 excluded per customer request (AgroNova scope change 2026-06-05).

Customer contact: Luc Moreau (AgroNova) confirmed marker exclusion by email on 5 Jun 2026. Thread archived under project folder.

Standard turnaround applies: results expected by 2026-06-18.

Up and running
in weeks,
not months.

Most labs are live and processing orders within two to three weeks of kickoff. No generic configurations — every deployment is built around your workflow.

Map your workflow

A Breed Bio expert works with your team to document your current workflow: order types, instrument setup, marker panels, and result formats. No assumptions. No generic configurations.

Old way

Configure and connect

The platform is configured to your lab's logic. Existing data from Kraken or other legacy tools is migrated. Instrument integrations are validated. Your team is trained on the system they will actually use and not a demo environment.

Go live. We stay close.

Most labs go live within two to three weeks of kickoff, and we maintain direct lines of communication with your team. When something changes in your lab, for example, new marker panels, new instruments, or new workflows, the software adapts.
